Obituary for John David Riddle

On Saturday, April 20, 2019, John David Riddle, a husband, father, son, uncle, and friend went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 50. John was born November 2, 1968 in Elizabethtown, KY to Charles David and Leah Stricklin Riddle. He was a 1986 graduate of Rockcastle County High School and attended Harry Sparks Vocational School. He owned and operated Advantage Refinishers in Milford, OH.
On July 11, 2009, he married Jennifer (Kuhlman) Bielik and they have one daughter together, Anna Grace Riddle. John also has a son, Christopher and two daughters, Harley and Tesla, and Jennifer has two sons, Ethan and Jonathan. John was a loving husband and wonderful father.
John had a passion for music and was a talented drummer, having played in bands since childhood and more recently in the worship band at his church. He also loved to fish and enjoyed sports including NLF Fantasy Football and Nascar. He was known for his kindness and compassion, his love and loyalty to family and friends, and his keen sense of humor.
John was preceded in death by his father, Charles David Riddle. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, his mother, Leah Dixon, his four children, Christopher, Harley, Tesla, and Grace, two sisters, Shaye Caperton and Jo Anne Beckwith, two stepsons, Ethan and Jonathan and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 27 at Pierce Point Community Church, 1300 White Oak Rd., Amelia, OH 45102 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with Celebration of Life Service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
