Obituary for Shelby Christine Gustafson Robinson

Mrs. Shelby Christine Gustafson Robinson, 84 of Orlando, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in London. She was born in Mt. Vernon, KY on March 21, 1933 the daughter of Austin and Sally Eva Sowder Gustafson. She was a homemaker and a loving mother. She enjoyed crocheting and making bread and sharing with family and friends. She was an active member of Flat Rock Baptist Church and had previously served as church clerk.
She is survived by two sons, Joe Francis Robinson and wife, Sandy of Shelbyville and Fred Silvanus Robinson and wife, Edna of London; two daughters, Norma Daveen Robinson Wheat of Campbellsville and Sheila Fay Robinson Whitaker and husband, Jim of Pikeville, TN; and two sisters, Carrie Madeline Nance of Lilburn, GA and Esther Williams of Covington, GA. Fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jack Robinson; a son, William "Bill" Eugene Robinson; and two sisters, Lena Mae Joiner and Margaret Richards.
Pallbearers are: Austin Robinson, Jackie Robinson, William Robinson, Jeremy Wheat, Marc Whitaker, Matthew Whitaker, McKenzie Whitaker, and Micah Whitaker.
Honorary pallbearers are: Matt Bledsoe, Ralph Compton, Tim Durham, David Mason, Paul Mason, Jeffery Pendleton, Henry Vanzant, and Gary Wheat.
